Information center at Old Town Hall
On September 9, 2006, Weiden installed a web cam in the Old Town Hall’s information center. This cam enables both locals and tourists to “see” friends and relatives via internet.
The camera is on from 5 am to 10 pm. During this time you can record yourself. Whether you want to show your granddaughter to your aunt in Canada, whether a US soldier wants to say hello to his family at home, whether a newly wed couple wants to share its bliss with the whole world - everything is possible. Perhaps you just want to see how your high school sweetheart looks today.
Just click on “Cam 4” at www.weiden-zuhause.de and meet old friends, deepen new friendships, or strengthen relational connections. Everybody can use it - for free! You just have to go to the Old Town Hall and send a friendly smile, a wave, or a kiss on the hand via internet, from Weiden to the world.
